Gators Get Some Revenge In Brooklyn

The Gators had been on a roll with 3 straight wins including the upset over the National powerhouse Brooklyn Seminoles. After heading to Pennsylvania and making a statement against the Raiders, the Gators didn't need motivation this week to avoid a letdown.... Because it was Pharaohs week! After losing the championship to the purple and gold last season this game started out with a Pharaoh score and left some to wonder whether the fairytale season was coming to an end. Then came an offensive explosion with MVP candidate Sadeeq Nathaniel catching a dot thrown from Chris Andrews and took it to the house. Andrews continues his amazing 2023 campaign with another TD pass to Shannon James witha. beautiful toe touch catch that ran him into the fence in the corner of the end zone. Tajae Montgomery capped the scoring with a huge TD run thanks to key blocks by Wes Foryoh and Tyreek Noble. The defense rallied with a big stop at the end to give the Pharaohs their first loss of the season 20-16.
